About the role

We're seeking individuals who are passionate about enhancing the lives of people and families living with disabilities. This role offers flexible weekday and weekend schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to individuals with disabilities
• Assist with daily activities such as hygiene, bathing, and meal preparation
• Support in accessing community resources and services
• Participate in group activities and outings
• Ensure safety and comfort of the individuals served

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience preferred but not required
• Driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
• At least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Experience working with disabilities is preferred but not required
• Pass a drug screen and background check

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Patience and empathy
• Basic computer skills (optional)
