About the Role

The Grooming Salon Leader manages daily operations, leads and trains grooming team members, and delivers professional grooming services to pets. They ensure exceptional customer experiences, maintain safety and hygiene standards, and monitor salon performance metrics to drive growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee salon workflow, staffing, inventory, and performance metrics
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate grooming staff, fostering a positive team environment
• Perform expert grooming services including bathing, grooming, nail trimming, and ear cleaning
• Provide excellent customer service, address pet parent inquiries, and recommend grooming care
• Maintain salon cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company policies
• Collaborate with management to meet sales and growth objectives
• Stay updated on grooming trends and industry standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience; leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of dog breeds, grooming techniques, and health considerations
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with empathy and care
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
• Availability for full-time work, including weekends and holidays
