About the role

We are looking for volunteers to join our green team ("Groenploeg") to assist with the maintenance and development of our youth domain, Hopper-jeugdverblijf De Brink in Herentals. This is a voluntary position to support our team in various green management tasks and new projects.

Responsibilities

• Pruning hedges and fruit trees
• Felling dead trees, sawing, and splitting firewood
• Repairing fences and maintaining access roads
• Maintaining the small animal park
• Controlling invasive plant species (exotenbestrijding)
• Participating in new projects, such as:
  • Building mini shelters
  • Creating natural play elements on the domain
  • Constructing a pizza oven
  • Developing a pick-your-own garden (pluktuin)

Schedule

Work takes place outdoors in the healthy forest and open air of our youth domain in Bosbergen, Herentals. The schedule is flexible and can be tailored to your availability (e.g., a fixed day each month or a few times per year).
