Description
Help your neighbor get the necessary groceries they need to remain aging in place. Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland needs volunteers to help with our Grocery Assistance program in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Responsibilities
- Matched to a homebound individual
- Work closely with their client to schedule shopping trips
- Prepare grocery lists
- Help put groceries away
Requirements
- Not required to take the client to the store
- Have a Meals on Wheels credit card
- Submit shopping reports online
Qualifications
- Commitment of at least nine months
