Grocery Retail Stocker (Fuquay Varina, Garner)

About the role

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Merchandiser to join our team in the Fuquay Varina and Garner territories. We are jointly owned by Suntory and PepsiCo, combining a 125-year legacy of beverage innovation with deep roots in the Carolinas and beyond. As a Merchandiser, you’ll help bring beloved PepsiCo beverages and our own growing product lines—like Nature’s Twist refreshing lemonade—to stores and customers, ensuring our products are stocked, displayed, and sold according to PBV standards.

Responsibilities

• Fill and merchandise all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
• Execute and sell all promotions.
• Create and utilize point-of-sale signage.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations; service customers as scheduled.
• Order product and/or run invoices.
• Clean equipment, maintain backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotate stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED highly preferred; three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Ability to meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
• Customer-oriented and focused.
