Responsibilities
- Cultivate a professional and positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Respond courteously and helpfully to customer inquiries and requests.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to shrink guidelines.
- Unload trucks (Dairy, Frozen, Grocery, etc.), removing merchandise and sorting it into appropriate groups.
- Load merchandise onto carts for placement on designated shelves.
- Read and understand shelf and merchandise labels.
- Manually attach price labels to items.
- Remove merchandise from the backroom for stocking on sales floor shelves and build special sales displays.
- Operate a manual pallet-jack, powered pallet stacker, or straddle stacker (if over 18 years old).
