Grocery Merchandiser - Raleigh- Durham, NC

About the role

This part-time position is based in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area (within a 25-55 mile radius) and requires 24 hours per week, typically spread over 3 days. The Grocery Merchandiser will manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks using provided technology. The role involves merchandising, reporting, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
• Perform retail tasks including ordering products, stocking shelves, and conducting audits in grocery stores.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verify accurate product representation on store shelves and ensure products are well-stocked.
• Use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
• Maintain a safe working environment and professional appearance while adhering to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day (up to 50 pounds).
• Work independently in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision.
• Comply with store team guidelines and attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation, valid Driver License, and proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone (within 5 years old) with service and internet for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in the assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.

Bilingual preferred but not required. Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus but not required.

Pay

$20 hourly.
