About the role

The Grocery Merchandiser will properly manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks. This position requires merchandising, the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds, and consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication. You will work independently, follow directions, and have excellent communication skills.

Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC (within a 25-55 mile radius).

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
• Perform retail work including ordering products, stocking shelves, and working product from new orders.
• Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verify that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves and ensure they are well stocked; order if product is low or out of stock.
• Maintain a safe working environment while working in stores.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day.
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day; must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work comfortably in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.
• Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation, valid Driver License, and proof of Automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone (within 5 years old) with service and internet for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits at local grocery retailers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required).

Pay

$20 hourly.

Schedule

Part-time, 24 hours a week, 3 days a week.
