Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Aid in achieving sales and profit goals
- Maintain quality assurance standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates
- Respond to customer inquiries about products
- Offer product samples and inform customers of specials
- Recommend grocery items to customers
- Check and label department merchandise
- Report discrepancies and maintain temperature logs
- Stay informed on store promotions and adhere to food safety regulations
- Participate in safety programs and report incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Desired: Retail experience, second language proficiency
- Desired: Ability to promote trust and respect among associates
