About the role

The Practice Manager at Henderson is responsible for overseeing production staff, managing projects, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. This role requires a proven track record in leadership and project management, along with a deep understanding of engineering design fundamentals and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Aligns resources with projects to maximize efficiency and meet client expectations.
  • Manages employee performance and development, including evaluations and coaching.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients within the designated region.
  • Ensures project deliverables meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Works closely with technical managers to develop and mentor talent.
  • Manages client relationships and generates proposals aligned with the practice strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, marketing, or business.
  • Eight (8) or greater years of relevant experience, including two (2) years in personnel/project management.
  • Proven ability to motivate, direct, and coach staff.
  • Broad proficiency in engineering design fundamentals and advanced knowledge of industry codes, guides, and standards.

Pay
