Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate and dress grocery shelves.
• Maintain and organize all back stock.
• Maintain grocery sales area, shelves, floors and back room area ensuring they are neat and sanitary.
• Stay informed of price changes and inform the Scan Department of pricing inaccuracies.
• Maintain daily specials and replenish specials on the shelves.
• Verify products and correct shelf labels/signs while maintaining proper product alignment.
• Be present at your workstation at the start of your shift.
• Comply fully with all safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Customer Service Pledge at all times.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and strictly adhere to the Dress Code policy.
• Maintain consistent attendance.
• Comply with all policies contained within the Employee Handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Grocery Manager or Assistant Grocery Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to hear, speak, and understand spoken language.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, analyzing, interpreting, and understanding English.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste or smell as required.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distant vision, and color vision with ability to adjust focus.
• No minimum educational requirement.
• Ability to calculate figures, amounts, discounts, and percentages.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
