Grocery Associate

Up to 29 hours weekly – must have availability evenings and weekends with shifts between the hours of 8am and 8:30pm. Opportunity for promotion.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the Grocery Department.
• Write orders using effective pars and planning.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks, including: scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency and ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Production-driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks while standing.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work the hours required to meet company objectives, including occasional additional time as needed.
• Willingness to work a non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions, hot or cold.
