Responsibilities
- Research grants using secondary databases, company websites, and foundation center databases.
- Develop grant proposals that effectively communicate JerseySTEM’s goals, objectives, and strategies to potential funders.
- Maintain accurate records of grant submissions and outcomes.
- Compile data and record information in Salesforce, Jira, or Spreadsheets.
- Attend Weekly team meetings (Sundays 12pm EST).
Requirements
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong research and writing skills, including the ability to develop compelling narratives.
- Familiarity with grant application processes and requirements.
- Experience writing grants is preferred.
Qualifications
- Talented professionals across JerseySTEM’s departments.
- Minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week.
- Exempt from the $100 refundable deposit if K-12 educator, retiree, veteran, intern, or student.
Skills
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Familiarity with grant application processes and requirements.
- Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
