GRNT201: Grant Researcher

Responsibilities

• Research grants using secondary databases, company websites, and foundation center databases.
• Develop grant proposals that effectively communicate JerseySTEM’s goals, objectives, and strategies to potential funders.
• Maintain accurate records of grant submissions and outcomes.
• Compile data and record information in Salesforce, Jira, or Spreadsheets.
• Attend Weekly team meetings (Sundays 12pm EST).

Requirements

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong research and writing skills, including the ability to develop compelling narratives.
• Familiarity with grant application processes and requirements.
• Experience writing grants is preferred.

Qualifications

• Talented professionals across JerseySTEM’s departments.
• Minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week.
• Exempt from the $100 refundable deposit if K-12 educator, retiree, veteran, intern, or student.

Skills

• Strong research and writing skills.
• Familiarity with grant application processes and requirements.
• Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
