Grinder Production A - 2nd Shift (MTC)

Job Duties

• Set up and operate internal, centerless, surface, external, thread, and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work.
• Perform any type of difficult grinding work on all grinder types.
• Grind steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours, and threads.
• Set up truing devices on thread grinding for various thread types and forms.
• Select proper speeds, feeds, and wheels.
• Hold work to required tolerances.
• Ensure exacting setups, typically requiring firm and accurately set fixtures, rests, or blocks.

Tools & Equipment

• All types of grinders
• Machinists’ hand tools
• Precision measuring instruments

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum three years of production grinding experience, including setup.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident/Green Card holder, political asylee, or refugee).

Additional Requirements

• Position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Non‑U.S. persons selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to export‑restricted information.
