Grinder/Polisher- TR 2nd shift

Priorities

• Inspects equipment for safe operation and completion of preventative maintenance
• Examines surface areas and welds for defects
• Works in confined spaces for up to four hours
• Sets up, adjusts, and operates equipment safely and efficiently
• Grinds, buffs, blends, and finishes metal components using various tools
• Wears appropriate personal protective equipment
• Completes assigned duties according to safety policies and practices
• Flexes into other departments as needed

Essential Duties

• Flaps and blends weld burns on the exterior and interior of tanks
• Belts, flaps, and blends seams on the inside of bottles
• Grinds welds, deburr rough metal, and produces various finishes on metal
