Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Following all safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Understand the process of unloading rail cars while following all following safety rules.
• Understand the pelletizing line.
• Operate cardboard baler machine.
• Operate dust collector.
• Accurately complete all paperwork as required by ISO, GMP, HACCP.
• Inspect work for accuracy, completeness, and professional look.
• Ensure correct material, packaging supplies and quality control tools are being used.
• Produce labels for gaylords.
• Proper and safe forklift operation.
• Change over grinder and cleaning out blower.
• Knowledge of correct screen for different materials and/or sizes.
• Moving and stacking of gaylords or plastic crates in the proper manner.
• Authorized LOTO (Lock-out/Tag-Out) procedures.
• Keeping scrap sorted and keeping scrap area orderly.
• Changing production lines for breaks.
• Basic trouble-shooting.
• Participation in monthly inventory.
• Provide training when needed or as needed to team members.
• Acceptable Attendance.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Mathematics Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages to practical situations.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
