Major Responsibilities
- Follow detailed blueprints, customer specifications, internal work instructions, and engineering direction.
- Operate grinders such as ID/OD grinders, surface grinders, centerless grinders, and other related equipment.
- Learn basic inspections and document work using precision measuring equipment and associated gauges and tooling.
- Unload and clean parts from grinders.
- Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Absorb and assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school certification in Machining or Tool and Die preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience machining prototypes, fixtures, and gages; grinding experience helpful.

- CNC OD/ID and surface Grinders
- Rough and precision slicers
Physical Demands
- 70% Standing on cement floors with rubber mats
- 10% Sitting
- 10% Stooping and Bending
- 10% Walking
- Lift and transport an average weight 10 lbs., maximum 30 lbs.
- Manual dexterity of both hands
- Near Visual Acuity (either corrected or uncorrected)
Work Environment
- Clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit production environment
- Protective foot and eyewear required
