Grief & Trauma Center Clinician

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients experiencing grief, trauma, and loss using trauma-informed and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine the specific mental health needs of clients, focusing on the impact of trauma and grief
• Develop personalized treatment plans with measurable goals to support clients in their healing and recovery journey
• Support clients in building resilience, developing coping mechanisms, and managing symptoms associated with trauma, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
• Coordinate care with external providers, such as medical professionals, social services, and other community resources, to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed to deliver holistic care

Requirements

• Must have a valid NJ LSW/LAC or higher
• Must be comfortable providing treatment to children through adulthood in group and individual settings
