About the Role

Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand, situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline along Mokapu Beach in Wailea. As a Ka’ana Host, you will welcome and create the first impression for guests, influencing their overall restaurant experience through interactions such as providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Ka’ana Kitchen is a premier restaurant in Wailea, featuring dishes made with the freshest local ingredients, prepared in a kiawe wood-burning oven, and catering to resort guests and local patrons daily for breakfast and dinner.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive first impression.
• Provide table accommodations and menu recommendations.
• Engage in casual conversation to enhance the guest experience.
• Use electronic reservation and seating systems.
• Ensure guest satisfaction as a final point of contact.

Requirements

• Fun, articulate personality with a great sense of humor and attitude.
• Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to engage in casual conversation and create a memorable restaurant experience.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Minimum of two full days of work availability per week, including early morning, midday, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Pay

90-Day Probationary Rate: $22.70 per hour
Hourly Rate: $26.71
