Ka’ana Hosts at Andaz Maui at Wailea are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. These individuals influence the overall restaurant experience through interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Hosts may also be the final point of contact, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand, situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline along Mokapu Beach in Wailea. The luxury resort community features a 1.2-mile oceanfront beach path, five crescent-shaped beaches, premier shopping, and distinguished restaurants. "Ka’ana Kitchen" is the resort’s premier restaurant, offering dishes made with the freshest local ingredients, prepared in a kiawe wood-burning oven, and dictated by seasonal availability. The restaurant serves resort guests and local patrons daily for breakfast and dinner.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive first impression.
• Provide table accommodations and seating using electronic reservation systems.
• Offer menu recommendations and engage in casual conversation to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure guest satisfaction as a final point of contact.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage in casual conversation and create a memorable dining experience through personal style and service.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Schedule

• Must be available to work alternating scheduled shifts on any day of the week, including early mornings, middays, afternoons, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Pay

90-Day Introductory Rate: $22.70 per hour

Full Hourly Rate: $26.71 per hour
