About the role

The Greenskeeper at Rodeo Dunes is responsible for maintaining the lush greenery and pristine condition of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fairways, greens, tees, and other areas of the golf course in top condition.
• Perform regular mowing, trimming, and edging tasks to ensure a consistent appearance.
• Manage irrigation systems to optimize water usage and maintain proper moisture levels.
• Assist with the planting and maintenance of new turf and landscaping projects.
• Handle waste management and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and technologies.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in groundskeeping or similar field.
• Knowledge of golf course maintenance techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with golf course management software is a plus.

Skills

• Proficiency with lawn mowers, trimmers, and other maintenance equipment.
• Understanding of golf course design principles.
• Basic knowledge of plant biology and soil science.

Pay

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
