About the role
The Greenskeeper at Old Shores is responsible for maintaining the course and grounds, ensuring they are in top condition for all golfers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain course and grounds including mowing, fertilizing, and trimming grass
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
- Perform regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and challenges
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in groundskeeping or related field
- Knowledge of golf course maintenance practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Strong physical fitness and stamina
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Skills
- Proficient in using lawn mowers, trimmers, and other maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of golf course management software
- Ability to lift heavy objects
