Green Sand - Cutoff
Duties
- Cutoff excess aluminum from metal castings
- Separate material type for scrapping
- Report defects
- Transport full scrap barrels to melt department
- Sort and palletize parts after processing
- Maintain saw, change blades, & PMs
- Absorb assistance with mold dump or knockout as required
- Inspect all safety measures/equipment
- Clean and maintain area
- Attend production meetings
- Complete department safety sheets
- Perform other duties or assignments as directed by management

Education/Experience
No specific education or certification is required, however, high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is preferred.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
