About the role

The Public & School Partnership (PSP) is an AmeriCorps-funded nonprofit organization based in Logan, Utah at the Utah State University Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice. PSP strengthens the capacity of schools and nonprofit organizations across northern Utah through various initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build the capacity of the organization to strengthen systems that support students facing barriers to academic success.
• Develop and improve sustainable processes, partnerships, and resource coordination that increase access to basic needs supports, including food, hygiene items, and clothing.
• Create tools and strategies that enhance social and emotional support systems, helping the organization better serve students at risk of dropping out.
• Strengthen long-term organizational capacity, improve student engagement, and contribute to increased educational attainment as a strategy for reducing poverty.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
