Graphics Technician Assistant

About the role

The Graphics Technician will assist in the presentation of information visually, translating client needs into finished products. They will work closely with customers to produce printed materials, manage digital media, and maintain visual identity across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of printed materials, including signs, placards, posters, tri-fold brochures, banners, and three-dimensional displays.
• Transfer and store digital media in an organized database.
• Aid in the development of original designs, concepts, and visual styles for publications, web pages, presentation materials, and other media.
• Create and develop modern multimedia content for social media platforms and internal communications.
• Maintain and update JECC message boards and public web site.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to address their requirements and create content accordingly.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in graphic design.
• Experience with camera and video equipment.
• Communications and comprehension skills in English, both oral and written.
• Self-starter and good time management skills.
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or related fields.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.

Skills

• Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Camera and video equipment.
• Microsoft Office products.
• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent digital editing equipment.
• Website and social media design.
• Video production on platforms like Facebook Live.
• Social media tools and software (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Khoros).
• Planning and use of photographs, illustrations, drawings, charts, diagrams, dioramas, maps, slides, overlays, and other visual material.
