Graphic Designer - Video Specialist

About the role

The Graphic Designer - Video Specialist position is a full-time role based out of Marklund's Geneva facility. The position is responsible for creating marketing, recruiting, advocacy, and fundraising materials, newsletters, ads, web pages, and assets/graphics for social posts and email blasts. This role supports creative projects with a combined expertise in graphic design and video editing.

Responsibilities

• Create marketing, recruiting, advocacy, and fundraising materials, newsletters, ads, web pages and assets/graphics for social posts and email blasts.
• Makes graphic and content updates to Marklund website.
• Affords assistance in layout, typography, and photography decisions.
• Affords assistance in complex PR campaigns.
• Attends and affords assistance at special events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Public Relations, Communications or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Graphic Design preferred.
• Must have excellent design and creativity skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks within a deadline-driven environment.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Must be proficient in photography, video editing and website editing.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software including Publisher, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience in web content management systems is required.

Qualifications

• Required experience in Graphic Design.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Proficiency in photography and video editing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in web content management systems.
