About The Role

The Environmental Graphic Designer II at CannonDesign is a creative and detail-oriented professional passionate about transforming spaces through innovative visual solutions. This role involves collaborating with renowned global brands across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, and sports environments, to reimagine how brand identity and messaging come to life within physical spaces. As part of our Experiential Graphic Design team, you will partner with interior designers, architects, and project stakeholders to develop compelling graphics that inspire and connect people with their environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in graphic design, environmental graphics, or related disciplines
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating versatility across markets and media
• Excellent typography and visual communication skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign on Mac platform
• Working knowledge of Revit and SketchUp is a plus
• Experience in 3D design, wayfinding, exhibition design, and environments
• Strong analytical skills and independent thinking capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the design process, from concept development to artwork production
• Translate client needs and ideas into compelling visual concepts that reflect their mission and values
• Support project execution by developing storyboards, detailed designs, and final artwork for fabrication
• Design highly detailed graphics across various media, including signage, wayfinding systems, exhibits, and environmental graphics
• Develop comprehensive documentation for graphic programs, signage systems, donor recognition, and interpretive exhibits under leadership guidance
• Produce camera-ready artwork suitable for fabrication and installation
• Engage in team discussions, provide constructive critique, and participate in design reviews
• Prepare visualizations and mockups using digital models to communicate design intent effectively
• Collaborate closely with project teams, including interior designers, architects, and clients, to ensure cohesive project delivery
