Job Responsibilities
- Create high-quality motion graphics, video edits, animations, and visual treatments for customer-facing, marketing, and social media use
- Translate original files and product narratives into compelling video and motion design assets
- Develop polished visual executions that support storytelling, product education, and customer engagement
- Edit and refine video content to improve pacing, clarity, visual quality, and overall impact
- Edit raw footage, screen captures, product demos, animations, and visual assets into cohesive finished videos
- Apply transitions, typography, motion effects, sound sync, color adjustments, and visual polish to meet quality standards
- Prepare video outputs for multiple formats, channels, and aspect ratios including customer presentations, marketing campaigns, and social platforms
- Ensure final deliverables are accurate, brand-aligned, accessible, and ready for stakeholder review or publication
- Apply strong visual design judgment across composition, timing, typography, hierarchy, pacing, and storytelling
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, design direction, and product experience standards
- Identify opportunities to improve clarity, visual appeal, and customer relevance through motion and editing choices
- Manage production responsibilities including file naming conventions, asset organization, version control, and delivery tracking
- Maintain clear production timelines, milestones, deliverable schedules, and status updates across assigned projects
- Track feedback, revisions, approvals, and final outputs to ensure work remains accurate and organized
- Proactively communicate risks, blockers, dependencies, and changes that may affect delivery quality or timing
- Partner with design, product, and business stakeholders to understand goals and translate feedback into effective creative execution
- Contribute creative recommendations that improve storytelling, customer understanding, and asset performance
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional motion design, video editing, or digital production experience
- 2–4 years of demonstrated high-end motion design craft with attention to detail and ability to clearly tell a story, as evidenced by portfolio
- 2–4 years of experience in a production environment with file naming conventions, file management, versioning and revisions, and tracking via a central tracking system or spreadsheet
- Demonstrated experience translating product narratives and raw creative files into polished, customer-ready video and motion assets
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, video editing, visual storytelling, and polished production execution
- Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Film/Video Production, Digital Media, Studio Art/Fine Art, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of motion principles, typography, pacing, composition, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency
- Experience creating video and motion assets for marketing, customer-facing, social, digital, or product-related content
- Experience and background with Microsoft 365 products including Copilot, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in structured production environments with formal review cycles, stakeholder feedback, and delivery tracking
- Familiarity with accessibility considerations for video including captions, readable text, contrast, and clear visual communication
- Experience creating motion or video content for technology, productivity, SaaS, or enterprise customer scenarios
