Graphic Designer (Contract to Hire)

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders in our sales and investments teams to understand our content and translate data into clear and compelling charts and graphics for a wide range of mediums and audiences.
• Collaborate closely across an integrated Marketing department and with other members of the Creative team to develop social media visuals, data visualizations, and other graphic elements to illustrate complex concepts.
• Create multimedia, immersive storytelling experiences for our blog using video, motion graphics, and interactive data visualizations to complement the narrative.

Competencies Required

• Ability to translate and simplify complex data through information graphics and charts.
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
• Proficiency in preparing files for print runs and digital use.
• Proficiency in using AI and understanding of prompting best practices to edit and generate images (Adobe Firefly).
• Knowledge of front-end development and content management systems a plus.
• Ability to work on both a Mac and a PC for a variety of media.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative iterating to solve creative problems.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take both broad and narrow direction from Design Directors.
• Highly organized and results-oriented.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Background and Experience

• Bachelor’s in graphic design or a related field.
• Relevant years of experience: one to five years of design experience in media, at an agency, or in-house with a focus on data visualization.
