Graphic Designer

Washington State University is seeking a Graphic Designer to design and produce original visual and multimedia materials supporting Enrollment Management marketing and communication efforts, with a primary focus on new student recruitment and enrollment initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality promotional materials for new student recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
• Create original visual and multimedia content.
• Apply accessible design principles across all forms of media.
• Work within institutional branding constraints while maintaining creativity.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Collaborate with non-design stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia, printing technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years full-time experience in concept development and design of promotional materials.li>
• Proficiency in digital publishing and graphic design software, including Adobe InDesign, Canva, WordPress, PowerPoint, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.

Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with principles, practices, and techniques of digital art, graphic design, layout, and illustration.
• Experience working in a higher education or similar institutional setting.
• Experience using an established design system to create new work.
• Experience using project management tools.
• Strong communication skills with non-design stakeholders.
• Comfort receiving and incorporating feedback.

Pay

Monthly salary range: $4,061.90 - $6,092.84.
