Graphic Designer
About the role
This role can be based out of our Houston, Texas headquarters or our Canadian headquarters in Sherwood Park, Alberta. It is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days in the office, permanent and full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a range of creative materials, including branding, print/packaging collateral, website layout, digital advertisements, and email and social media assets.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to prioritize work and resources across the team.
- Strategize and develop breakthrough creative concepts anchored in key insights and aligned to strategic marketing objectives.
- Review and approve all creative concepts by the team, ensuring all deliverables address the strategic goals.
- Develop motion graphics, animated content, short-form videos, presentation visuals, and other multimedia assets for websites, social media, email campaigns, Viva Engage, SharePoint, conferences, and digital advertising.
- Support video production from concept through final delivery, including storyboarding, filming coordination, basic lighting and audio support, editing, captioning, formatting, and asset management.
- Continuously re-evaluate and re-assess all digital assets on websites and ecommerce platforms based on user data to ensure content is updated and refined in tune with the latest technology.
- Organize and maintain a library of all creative assets, accessible for reference by internal stakeholders.
- Other work duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of creative experience.
- Proven experience with digital campaigns and knowledge of web design standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in professional design and media-production tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable applications.
- Thorough knowledge of layout and design techniques.
- Strong project management skills.
- Highly collaborative, with a commitment to proofreading and reviewing own and team members’ work.
