Grants Writer

About the role

The writer will assist in research, prepare, and submit grant proposals on behalf of the Nation. This position will also provide grant management support for the Nation's active awards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research and preparation of grant proposals
• Submit grant proposals on behalf of the Nation
• Provide grant management support for active awards

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of prior grant knowledge/experience, grant writing, and/or state and federal grants & contracts
• Bachelor's degree in planning, Communications, English, or other Humanities or Social Science related field

Qualifications

• Strong research and writing skills
• Knowledge of federal and state grant programs
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with grant management software
