About the role
This is an opportunity to own grant management end-to-end and to push the boundaries of what's possible by introducing AI-driven automation and smarter reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full grants lifecycle, including prospecting, application development, award setup, monitoring, and close-out.
- Maintain a centralised grants calendar and tracking system to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Prepare, review, and submit grant reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with funder requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data, financials, and narratives needed for applications and reporting.
- Design and implement AI-driven tools and workflows to automate routine grant management and reporting tasks.
- Analyse grant performance and funding trends to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation, processes, and controls for grant management and compliance.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in grants management, including hands-on responsibility for applications and reporting.
- Strong track record managing multiple grants simultaneously with strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply funder guidelines, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency with grant management systems or databases and advanced use of spreadsheets or reporting tools.
- Experience leveraging AI tools or automation platforms to streamline administrative or data-driven processes.
- Excellent written communication skills for drafting, editing, and refining grant narratives and reports.
- High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable Skills
- Experience integrating AI solutions (e.g., LLMs, workflow automation tools) into existing grant or finance processes.
- Background in data analysis or business intelligence related to funding, program outcomes, or financial reporting.
- Familiarity with the specific funding landscape relevant to the organisation's sector.
- Experience leading process improvement or change management initiatives within grants or finance functions.
