ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Review incoming grant applications to ensure submissions are complete, accurate, and compliant with program requirements.
- Maintain grant application tracking system.
- Maintain electronic grant records by accurately saving, organizing, and archiving grant-related documents to ensure compliance with grant requirements and record retention policies.
- Prepare financial disbursement requests, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Effectively communicate with local Habitat offices regarding application status and disbursement of funds.
- Provide administrative support for Accounts Receivable and Revolving Loan Fund.
- Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, filing documents, and copying materials.
Affiliate Engagement
- Develop and foster positive relationships and interactions with affiliates.
- PRACTICE ongoing and consistent communication and collaboration with affiliates to ensure HFHC is providing value-added services and products.
- REPRESENT HFHC at affiliate events.

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
- Proficiency in the use of standard office equipment.
- Flexible and adaptive work style with the ability to thrive in a growing, innovative, mission-driven environment.
Education, Experience, and General Requirements
- Associate degree and two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Previous administrative or bookkeeping experience is a plus.
- Previous experience with grants, loans, or real estate transactions, or experience with affordable housing is a plus.
- Experience in Non-Profit related field is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation allowing for travel, some weekends and overnight stays will be required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- This position will require sitting at a computer for extended periods of time and the ability to type and talk on the phone.
- Throughout the day, employee will move around the office to perform various tasks.
- MUST be able to lift up to 15 pounds from time to time.
- The position will primarily be located indoors at the Habitat office, a climate-controlled space with frequent personal interactions.
- The employee should be prepared to attend meetings and other events at locations other than Habitat’s office location, with periodic travel; evening and weekend work may be required at times.

- The expected starting range for this position is $21.50-25 hour.
