About the role

The Grants and Agreements Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of grant and agreement administration, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain grant and agreement files in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit grant applications and reports to funding agencies.
  • Monitor and ensure timely submission of required financial and administrative reports.
  • Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of grants and agreements.
  • Manage conflict resolution and negotiation processes related to grants and agreements.
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on grant and agreement procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., public policy, business, or a related field).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant management or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state grant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with non-profit organizations or government agencies.
  • Knowledge of grant writing and budgeting principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Grant management software proficiency (e.g., Grants.gov, Foundation Center).
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
