Responsibilities

  • Manages a portfolio of grant subawards for state- and federally-funded programs to provide services to victims/survivors of human trafficking and legal assistance and other supportive services to victims of crime.
  • Performs complex analytical, technical, and evaluative work in support of state and federally-funded Victim Services grant programs.
  • Manages a portfolio of Grant Subawards; analyzes programmatic and fiscal documentation for compliance.
  • Conducts monitoring and assessments of Subrecipients; provides technical assistance.
  • Develops analytical reports and recommendations.
  • Exercises independent judgment within established laws, regulations, Grant Subaward conditions, and program guidelines.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid Telework: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Additional in-office days may be required based on business need.
  • DMV Pull Program: Participation is required. The position requires a valid Driver’s License (DL). You must provide your DL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
  • In the event of an emergency, employees may be contacted and requested to report to work outside of normal working hours (evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays). Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive, with little advance notice, and may require relocation to emergency sites.

The Finance & Logistics Administration Directorate oversees sections managing Cal OES operations including budgeting, fiscal analysis, accounting, grants management, human resources, labor relations, staff recruitment, examinations, organization and professional development, disaster and internal logistics support. The Directorate is comprised of four sections: Administrative Services, Human Resources, Grants Management, and Logistics.
