Grant Writing Intern

Rocky Mountain French Bulldog Rescue (RMFBR) is looking for a Grant Writing & Business Administration Intern. Since 2014, we’ve rescued more than 100 French Bulldogs every year—many with medical needs other rescues can’t take on. This internship is a great opportunity to gain real-world nonprofit experience while making a direct impact on dogs in need.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities, draft proposals, track deadlines, and assist with reporting.
• Contribute to fundraising campaigns, donor outreach, and communication efforts.
• Help with scheduling, recordkeeping, and day-to-day operations with our Executive Director.
• Work alongside the VP and Fundraising Director to move our mission forward.

Requirements

• Strong writing and research skills (grant or copywriting experience is a plus).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and communicating via Slack, email, and video meetings.
• Currently studying business, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Passionate about animal welfare and purpose-driven work.

Schedule

18 hours per week, 100% remote, flexible schedule.

Pay

Flat-rate paid stipend.
