Grant Development Manager

About the role

This position is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of strategies designed to source, identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective corporate, government, and foundation grants. The role focuses on securing grant funding to support a wide range of Saint Agnes programs, service lines, and capital campaign initiatives.

The position develops and submits funding proposals to foundations, organizations, and government entities, while identifying programmatic and capital needs aligned with philanthropic priorities. Using a CRM database, the role manages an active portfolio of prospects, prepares gift proposals and agreements, and tracks donor and prospect interactions, including the submission of funding applications.

The position collaborates closely with the Saint Agnes donor community, administrative leadership, and community stakeholders. Annual grant-writing goals are established in collaboration with the Chief Development Officer to support philanthropic revenue goals benefiting Saint Agnes Medical Center (SAMC), Saint Agnes Medical Foundation, and Central Valley Health Plan as needed.
