Job Title: Grant & Communications Manager - Emergency Preparedness, Response & Recovery (EPRR)

About the role

Responsible for managing grant applications and communications strategies to support emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. Collaborates with internal teams to secure funding and external partners to enhance community resilience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals to secure funding for EPRR initiatives.
• Manage communication campaigns to raise awareness and garner support for EPRR projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align grant objectives with organizational goals.
• Research and analyze funding opportunities relevant to EPRR.
• Work with external partners to build relationships and secure additional resources.
• Monitor and report on grant progress and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., public policy, communications, or a similar field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in grant management and/or communications.
• Proven track record of successfully securing grants and managing communications campaigns.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in grant writing and press releases.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with grant management software (e.g., Grants.gov, Foundation Center).
• Knowledge of federal and state grant programs relevant to EPRR.
