About the role
This is an ideation- and project-prototyping-focused role supporting an AI Venture Studio developing and validating multiple software-first MVP projects across emerging technology sectors. You will help identify relevant public funding opportunities and develop compelling grant applications to support the development, validation, and commercialization of early-stage AI ventures.
Tasks
- Research US federal, state, and other relevant grant funding opportunities
- Identify grants aligned with AI, SaaS, and related sectors
- Analyze eligibility requirements, funding priorities, deadlines, and application criteria
- Support the preparation of grant proposals, project descriptions, work plans, budgets, and impact statements
- Translate early-stage MVP concepts into clear, fundable project narratives
- Build and maintain a pipeline of relevant funding opportunities
- Collaborate with product, technology, and venture-building teams
Requirements
- Strong written communication and research skills
- Interest in AI, startups, venture building, innovation, and public funding
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear business/project narratives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with US government grants (e.g., SBIR/STTR) is a plus, but not required
- Students, recent graduates, and early-career candidates are welcome
