Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation, writing, and submission of grant proposals and applications.
- Conduct prospect research to identify potential foundation, corporate, and community grant opportunities.
- Support grant reporting, tracking deadlines, and maintaining grant records.
- Draft correspondence, summaries, and supporting materials for grant submissions.
- Assist with data collection and program information needed for grant proposals and reports.
- Manage routine and low to mid-level grant opportunities under staff supervision and coaching.
- Afford support to special projects and administrative tasks related to philanthropy and foundation operations.
- Collaborate with Foundation team members to ensure timely and accurate grant submissions.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and increased efficiency within grant development activities.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in public health, public policy, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of grant writing and fundraising principles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.61 to $26.70 per hour. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
Schedule
This is a full-time (5 FTE) position with variable hours during day shifts. No weekends are worked.
