Grain Facility Operator in Training

Responsibilities

• Participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Comply with OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations (ISO where applicable).
• Perform tasks such as transferring, loading, moving grain, and performing rail duties.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform general clean-up duties.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, where applicable.
• Maintain grain quality during storage and transfer.
• May be responsible for various tasks including product movement, truck loading, rail operations, and equipment operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in an industrial environment preferred but not required.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to use appropriate tools for assigned tasks.
• Ability to handle high dust levels and work in extreme weather conditions.

Pay
