Grain Facility Operator in Training

Responsibilities

• Participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Comply with OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations (ISO where applicable).
• Perform tasks such as transferring, loading, and moving grain to appropriate locations.
• Operate and monitor rail cars, perform rail duties, and weigh trucks.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform general clean-up duties including sweeping, shoveling, washing, painting, and other housekeeping tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Maintain grain quality during storage and transfer.
• May assist with product movement to storage, loading trucks, operating heavy equipment, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in an industrial environment with a dependable work record preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to use tools appropriate for assigned tasks.
• Ability to remain focused on exceptional customer service.

Pay
