Graduate Student Ambassador

About the role

The Center for Graduate Research and Education (Grad Center) seeks a year-round hourly graduate assistant (GAH) to join a dynamic, collaborative, student-centered team. This student will provide operational support to the Grad Center team and be the first point of contact for students in the Grad Center Lounge in Vasey Hall.

Responsibilities

• Providing reception desk support to greet all visitors to the Grad Center
• Assist the Grad Center team with events and programming
• Act as an ambassador of the Grad Center to the University community
• Assist with special research projects

Requirements

• Superlative communication skills (written and oral)
• Research skills (online, data driven)
• A passion for graduate education and a commitment especially to Villanova’s graduate student community
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and personable demeanor

Pay

Wage rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule

15‑20 hours per week, Monday–Friday (with some evenings and weekends for special events as needed).
