About the role
Responsible for providing care and support to children in residential settings, including special care units. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health and safety, and implementing therapeutic interventions as needed.Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the children.
- Monitor the physical and emotional health of the children.
- Implement therapeutic interventions based on individual needs.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Requirements
- Education: Graduated from a relevant degree program.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and knowledge of child development and care practices.
Qualifications
- Completed a relevant degree in a field related to social care, psychology, nursing, or a similar discipline.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Hold a valid first aid certificate.
