About the Role
Join a surgical team as a Graduate Nurse Resident or Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, providing patient care using the nursing process in a dynamic surgical setting. This role offers opportunities to cross-train or advance to scrub or First Assist roles.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and adjust plans as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
- Uphold quality and safety standards in the operating room.
- Train on surgical equipment, patient positioning, and documentation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (degree required).
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- Physical ability to lift patients and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Up to one year of OR or procedural experience.
