Graduate Nurse Resident (GN/RN) - Full-Time, Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care across all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will monitor and coordinate care with ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient comfort and safety, all within the scope of nursing practice and in compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards. The role is based in the Cardiac Progressive Care unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients of all age groups.
• Monitor and coordinate care with ancillary departments to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Adhere to nursing practice scope and comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Nursing education: Associate's, Diploma, or BSN.
• Current RN licensure.
• BLS certification.

Schedule

Full-time commitment with a focus on 12-hour night shifts.

Physical demands

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
