Graduate Nurse Resident - Full-Time, Night Shift

About the role

This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring accountability and evaluating care effectiveness provided by team members. You will coordinate patient care across departments, maintain patient rights, and safeguard confidentiality. The position is in the Cardiac Pavilion, working full-time on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties aligned with organizational standards, standards of care, and professional ethics.
• Deliver patient care using the nursing process.
• Ensure accountability and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members.
• Coordinate patient care across departments.
• Maintain patient rights and safeguard confidentiality.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license (or eligibility as a Graduate Nurse Resident).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical demands

• Lifting and moving patients or equipment.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
