23-bed orthopedic unit specializing in limb salvage, minimally invasive injury treatments, advanced surgical repair of complex deformities, and highly specialized trauma intervention.
About the role
The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—within the guidelines of nursing standards after completing a nursing program and before licensure. Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation from an accredited school of nursing to remain employed in Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment.
- Educates patients and families on illness/injury management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
- Develops and implements individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Evaluates patient responses and modifies care plans throughout the patient’s stay.
- Participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Engages in professional development.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- No prior experience required.
- Must obtain RN licensure within 90 days of graduation.

Pay
Up to $7,500 sign-on bonus eligible.
Schedule
Full time, night shift (three 12-hour shifts per week).
