Graduate Nurse - Emergency Department (Night Shift)

About the role

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across all age groups in a dynamic Emergency Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Coordinate activities with ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient comfort and care
• Function within the scope of nursing practice adhering to established guidelines, ethical standards, and hospital policies
• Participate in specialized programs such as the Emergency Trauma Center Nursing Fellowship and support growth and success of graduate nurses
• Work in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center, with pediatric, burn, behavioral health, and SANE resources
• Engage with diverse patient populations, caring for conditions from minor illnesses to life-threatening injuries
• Collaborate with Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians in a supportive team environment
• Maintain current licensure and certifications such as ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nursing School
• Current RN licensure in Missouri or permit
• Hospital experience, with preferred emergency department background
• Current healthcare provider certifications as required
